Lighthouse Girls Basketball uses big second half to knock off Hansen

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The Ligthhouse Lady Lions look to stay undefeated on the young season, as Lighthouse welcomes in conference foe, Hansen Monday night.

The pups down a bucket early, but even up the score on the inbounds play to Kendy Kenney, five points for her in the game.

Moments later, Trudy Millenkamp picks off the pass, hits Sabrina DeJong in transition, she misses the layup, but there for the putback is Maycee Holloway, Lions up 4-2.

Hansen down five, knock into the deficit on this three pointer by Shyla Brown. She led Hansen with six points.

But no one could stop Chloe Gomez, she had a game-high 15 points.

After leading 10-8 after the first quarter, Lighthouse took a 16-13 at the break. The Lions pulled away with a big second half to win 41-22.

The Lions travel to Hagerman on Wednesday, while the Huskies head to Twin Falls Christian on Tuesday.
