Parker paces Gooding to road win at Canyon Ridge

TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Tuesday's Canyon Ridge-Gooding Lady Hoops game got off to a late start. We pick things up at 8:30 pm in the first quarter.

Riverhawks down one, players trying get positioning, Alicia Beverly gets that positioning and just uses her height advantage to go over Keely Wolf for the short jumper.

Moments later, on the inbounds play for the Senators, Riley Comstock goes up hard and around Alexa Thomas for the bucket, it's 11-10 Gooding.

Then a miscommunication on defense leads to a wide open bucket for Miss Beverly. Canyon Ridge takes a three point lead.

While the first quarter was a battle, Gooding ends up pulling away in the second half, knocking off Canyon Ridge, 78-64.

Gooding's Grace Parker led all scorers with 24, while Caitlin Crist had 19 for Canyon Ridge.

The Senators move to 2-0 on the year, while the Riverhawks drop to 1-1. Next up for Canyon Ridge, away at Buhl.
