Shoshone takes down Valley, trying to stay in second place

SHOSHONE, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Oakley Girls Basketball is in the driver's seat to win the Snake River Conference. Shoshone's only losses of the year were at the hands of the undefeated Hornets.

The Lady Indians hosting Valley Wednesday night, trying to stay two back out of first place.

Cierra Hennings, a major part of Shoshone's success drains this three pointer, she posted a game-high 16 points, Indians up by 10.

Next possession, Monce Rivas finds a cutting Bailee Owens, Shoshone takes a 12 point lead in the second quarter.

This time Rivas gets the ball in the middle and goes hard off the glass, Shoshone wins 35-28.

The Lady Indians improve to 6-2 in conference play and host Glenns Ferry on Thursday, while the Vikings travel to Richfield.
