Three local schools honored with players on Idaho's

DECLO, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) USA Today High School Sports announced their 2017 American Family Insurance All USA Idaho football team.

Coach of the Year honor goes to Ryan Tracy of Fruitland but no surprise to those in Southern Idaho is who has been named the Offensive Player of the Year; hailing from Declo is Kegan Duncan.

Duncan led the Hornets to a perfect 13-0 season and the class 2A state championship title.

He rushed for 2,843 yards and 29 touchdowns and finished with 3,795 all-purpose yards and 42 total touchdowns. Duncan is already turning the heads of division one programs but let's not forget, he's only a junior.

The Gooding Senators and Minico Spartans also were represented on the list.

Keegan Duncan was the only local player on the offensive first team.

Minico's Larry Vega at running back and Juan Ruiz at the offensive line made the offensive second team as well as Cayden Loveland at wide receiver from Gooding.

On the defensive side of the ball two player both of Gooding made the first team.

Jake McGinnis on the line and Ruger Jennings at linebacker.
