TWIN FALLS, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) The volleyball duo of Kennedi Evans and Whitney Solosabal signed with Division I programs Thursday.
Evans will take her talents to the University of Utah, a member of the Pac–12 Conference.
And Solosabal heads to Utah State as a preferred walk–on.
Evans boasted more than 70 Division I offers, but always stayed true to the "U" and ranks as one of the top 25 high school volleyball players in the nation.
She just earned her third Great Basin Conference Player of the Year honor after amassing 309 kills in 113 sets.
Solosabal made the all–conference second team after producing 251 kills in 112 sets.
The girls helped Twin Falls reach the 4A state championship game for the first time in school history, before falling to Skyview.
Meanwhile, teammate Tori Edwards signed with Corban University, an NAIA school in Salem, Oregon.
Edwards made the Great Basin all–conference first–team this year, after a second–team mention last year.
Both Evans and Edwards made the state all–tournament team as well.
Her future school just captured its first Cascade Collegiate Championship.
