Twin Falls outpaces Jerome; boys basketball roundup

JEROME, Idaho ( KMVT / KSVT ) Thursday night's game between Jerome and Twin Falls was one of runs.

In the first half, Jerome took a 17-8 lead, but then Twin Falls picked up some momentum. We take you to the third quarter, it's a nine point lead for the Bruins, Twin Falls adds onto that lead, when the Tigers leave Lucas Young open for the three.

Then it's some post to post action, as Mitchell Brizee finds Hudson Klundt inside and the big man gets the bucket and foul.

The Bruins lead extends to 14.

Jerome cannot find an answer on their end. So staying with Twin, as Ryan Ball works on Jordin Myers, Ball led the Bruins with 11.

But then Jerome goes on a run of its own, as James Slone hits this three pointer, then another from the wing, Slone with a game-high 19 points.

Jerome scores eight straight before Twin Falls wants a timeout, as it's 40-31 now.

But the Bruins prevail 44-34.

Twin Falls moves to 4-1 in conference, 7-7 overall. Jerome drops to 2-3 in conference, 5-10 overall.
