Match.Com rapist sentenced in Ada Co. Courtroom for crimes

The man known as the 'Match.Com' Rapist was sentenced Tuesday in an Ada County Courtroom, for crimes he committed against a Sun Valley woman back in October, 2005.

Jeffery Marsalis, 35, was sentenced to a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of life in prison, on a charge of rape involving a 21 year old Sun Valley woman at her condominium in October, 2005.

Prosecutors say that Marsalis used drugs and alcohol to first incapacitate, and then sexually assault his victim. Before his Idaho trial began, he was serving a 21 year sentence for two counts of sexual assault in Pennsylvania, where he was convicted two years ago.
