Heath Harmison will take the term ‘bright young comedian’ to a new level when he returns to the College of Southern Idaho for a 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26 performance. His 7-year old son, Preston, will be one of the opening acts. Also on the evening’s bill is Sean Hancock, the Artistic Director of Recycled Minds, a Boise improv group.

Just more than ten years ago, Heath was a CSI Nursing student until he discovered the joys of – and his talent for – making people laugh. These days, his comedy tour includes college campuses, clubs, cruise lines, and festivals all over the country as well as the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has opened for well-known comedians including Louie Anderson, Dennis Miller, and Eddie Griffin.

Harmison performed to enthusiastic CSI audiences in 2010 and again in 2012 during his Live Funny or Die Laughing Tour. He can be seen on You Tube at

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and available at the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium box office as well as from CSI Dental Hygiene students who are sponsoring the event. Proceeds will benefit the Dental Hygiene student club. For information, contact the CSI Dental Hygiene lab at 732-6751.
