Suzanne Hawkins Talks About Her New Role On The TF City Council

Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT-TV) Monday, the Twin Falls City Council welcomed their newest member by swearing in 1st time council member Suzanne Hawkins.

Hawkins was the top choice to replace long time Council Member, Lance Clow, who served on the council for the better half of 2 decades.

Hawkins is a local small business owner and mother of 6 grown up children and grandmother of 14.

Hawkins said that she is happy to be the top choice out of a pool of extremely qualified individuals.

And also is anxious to be replacing, as Mayor Greg Lanting Called… a "Legend" in Twin Falls Politics.

"It is a daunting task to take on Lance’s seat. He has been vary gracious at helping me get up to speed on issues we are allowed to discus. And I feel ready for the task." Said Hawkins

To help welcome in the newest council member, former member Lance Clow was in the audience and had a few words of wisdom for the first time councilwomen.

Wishing her the best of luck in her new role as an ambassador for the City of Twin Falls.
