TWIN FALLS, IDAHO (KMVT-TV) Scam artists like to pose as the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) through mail, e-mail, or telephone calls. Identity thieves and fraudsters are looking to get their hands on taxpayers personal information and into their bank accounts. The majority of tax scams come in the form of e-mail phishing schemes. If you have questions about an e-mail or phone call you have received from someone posing as an IRS Representative, contact the IRS.
