Have you ever wondered how to give back to our American veterans? Now you can.

Buhl residents Monte Bruhn and his wife Diane started the Doug Bridges Memorial Hunts in honor of Bridges, an American soldier killed in Iraq.

Monte takes soldiers from Idaho and other states on hunting excursions that allow them to make memories they never thought they would have. Of course, there are costs with making these trips possible.

The rifle will be raffled off on June 1st at the Avid Sportsman in Buhl. Its value is nearly $1100. Tickets cost $10 for one or $50 for six. Call Monte for the details 308-8386.
