Being that it's international week at canyon ridge. What a great way to recognize the international students. Out of the student body, 66 of them are English Language Learners.
"We may be able to help them a little better by understanding where they're from," adds Adams.
All this week the students and staff have participated in a variety of activities. It's a moment for Alaa Saedi to remember where's she's from.
Saedi says, "I'm from Iraq."
Alaa arrived about a year ago and enjoys being a student at Canyon Ridge High School.
"My favorite is the school because in my country it's hard, here it's easy," exclaims Saedi.
