Albion Auction

By S Casey

This afternoon , people bid on Albion history as the eight buildings of the Albion State Normal Campus went up for sale.
Within two hours, Albion state found new owners in brothers Kent and Troy Mortensen out of Boise.
Kent owns a business called Kleen and Troy owns Systemtec.
They bought the campus for $891,000.
Since the teacher school closed in 1951, the city quickly lost popularity and income.
But, these owners are planning to restore the buildings and create opportunities for condominiums or senior housing.
