"The kids liked Fat Albert they thought the big nose of Fat Albert looked like Fat Albert's belly. They started calling it Fat Albert and it stuck” said Captain Ben Blanton, Pilot Fat Albert.

Before takeoff I was briefed by the crew on how the flight was going to consist.

As soon as I knew it, the propellers were spinning and I was in the air.

"Fat Albert is our maintenance and logistics airplane. So what we do is transport the men and women that make the Blue Angels possible the parts and equipment” said Captain Ben Blanton, Pilot Fat Albert.

This plane maybe known as Fat Albert but from standstill to zero gravity it took ten seconds to get in the air.
