Idaho State Police are investigating a car versus motorcycle accident in the Mini-Cassia area.

Around 10:40 Tuesday night, 54-year old John Baker of Burley was westbound on his motorcycle near Heyburn.

As Baker slowed to exit at milepost 211 he was rear-ended by a pickup driven by Gary Callarman of Plano ("plain"-oh') Texas.

The collision forced baker to lose control of the motorcycle - which went off the road.

Baker and his passenger - 52-year old Alice Baker - were both thrown from the motorcycle.

They were taken to Cassia Regional Medical Center.

John Baker was treated and released - while Alice Baker remains in critical condition.

Collarman was cited for inattentive and careless driving.
