Believe it or not, your torn jeans could help keep a family warm during the colder seasons. Vanity Clothing Store is taking in torn and tattered denim to be turned into insulation for homes.

The insulation will be installed in homes that have been affected by natural disasters. The area manager for Vanity went to the Idaho Youth Ranch to see if they'd like to help out.

The ranch said yes and started bringing in the blue. The goal is to collect 1,000 jeans between now and November. So far the Idaho Youth Ranch has collect 800 pairs of jeans.
