Some local students to intern with Food Network star
Some students from Magic Valley High School in Twin Falls will intern with the host of 'Diners, Drive–Ins, And Dives' on the Food Network.
Between four and six of the school's culinary arts students, selected by the Gem State's Restaurant Association, will help Guy Fiere during his 21 day road show tour.
The National Restaurant Association says that the students in their ‘Pro–Start’ program will help prep food before the show and work behind the scenes.
They'll get a taste of what it's really like to work, and see what it takes to succeed in high pressure food service situations.
Pro–start is a two year curriculum that's being taught to 80,000 students in 47 states.
