Two new studies show std's on the rise for young women

Two separate national studies show that sexually transmitted infections are on the rise; and almost half of all the new cases are showing up in young women.

The centers for disease control say that girls ages 15 to 19 have the highest rates for chlamydia and gonorrhea, followed closely by women 20 through 24 years old.

The November 23rd issue of 'Pediatrics' revealed that one in four girls, between the ages of 14 and 19, has at least one of five diseases studied, including hpv and herpes.
