Roger Morley announces bid for Jerome County Commissioner seat

60 year old Roger Morley of Jerome has announced he will run for Jerome County Commissioner in this year's election.

Morley graduated from Jerome High School in 1970, and his parents owned McCleery Drug Store, which used to be on the southwest corner of main and Lincoln streets.

Morley worked for AT&T, Mountain Bell, U-S West and Qwest phone companies for a total of 30 years before retiring.

Morley has served as a commissioner for Jerome County Planning and Zoning, and Jerome County Urban Renewal.

He says if he's elected, his main focus will be jobs, progress and business diversity.

Morley is running for Commissioner Joe Davidson’s seat.
