Friday morning the Jerome Tigers had the chance to sample careers. For a decade the Jerome High School has held a career discovery job fair every year.
55 companies and colleges from all around the Magic Valley and Idaho gave students an idea of what jobs are out there.
Wendy Ohlensehlen, Work Base Learning Coordinator says, "We're hoping that our kids get a chance to visit with a bunch of post–secondary opportunities. We’re hoping that they are able to learn about different careers in the field, learn about what kinds of jobs and demand for jobs in the future that will be out there."
900 students from ninth grade and up attended the job fair.
