Canals Play Big Part in Magic Valley’s EconomyMilner Dam
Twin Falls, Idaho (KMVT) Extensive canal systems throughout the Magic Valley deliver water to thousands of farms. In 1903 the Milner Dam was constructed to divert Snake River water to dry dusty land. The director of the Twin Falls Canal Company says the canals helped the Magic Valley grow and develop. Millions of dollars’ worth of crops rely on water from Milner Dam.
