A former Twin Fall Police detective who taught drug resistance classes - has graduated from Drug Court.

Wednesday evening, Curtis Gambrel joined 15 other graduates who have successfully completed the program.

He said, “"I'll take what I have learned in Drug Court and share. Continue to share with other people. Thank you. God bless."

In November 2009 Gambrel pleaded guilty to one count of 'obtaining a controlled substance by fraud' and 'conspiracy to obtain a controlled substance.'

We’ll have more for you on this story Thursday about how Drug Court is changing people's lives.

We’ll also show you an exclusive interview with the Honorable Judge Butler about the impact Gambrel has had on those going through drug court.
