Hailey Fire Chief named to National Emergency Response Team

Hailey, Idaho (KMVT) - A local fire chief was appointed to the National Emergency Response Team; Hailey’s Fire Chief Mike Chapman will be a part of the 'International Association of Fire Chief's' newly created, Go Team.

It's comprised of 20 highly skilled chiefs from throughout the country, with a two person team located in each of the 10 FEMA regions nationwide.

The mission is to provide free assistance to any local, state or federal agency during times of disaster.

A key goal is to be able to respond significantly faster to all types of emergencies and disasters.

Chief Chapman’s region will be the states of Idaho - Washington - Oregon and Alaska.
