Hansen, Idaho (KMVT) - The City of Hansen is now home to a brand new Head Start building; the new Hansen Head Start Center is located on Main Street just north of the post office.
A handful of local kids helped the mayor man the scissors at a ribbon cutting Friday.
A few years ago the Idaho Transportation Department said that they wanted enlarge the intersection where the old head start building was, which would have cut into the building.
The center teamed up with Region Four developments to write a Department of Commerce grant.
Local architect Barrett Craig drew up the plans, and specifically designed the building for early childhood education
