Bogus Hostage Call Jerome County

JEROME, ID (KMVT-Tv) Jerome County Law enforcement officials were called out Tuesday evening to what was at first believed to be a possible hostage situation.
According to officials somebody called in at around 7:30pm and said he had killed 2 hostages and was going to kill more unless he got an undisclosed amount of money within 30 minutes.
He also said that he had a bomb.
Officers responded to an address in the big little ranch area just south east of Jerome and discovered that the call was a hoax.
A cell phone number is now being checked into.
