Jerome (KMVT)- The city of Jerome will close an Urban Renewal Area down later this year. The Community Development Director Micah Austin says its a good thing. The URA started in the late 90's and has brought in several companies and developments to the area of south Jerome. Austin says the URA in this area has met its promise to the community. Other URAs in Jerome will remain, while another is being considered for the future.
