Helicopter Tours of the Snake
One local flight school decided to take advantage of all the high water along the Snake River.
With flows on the river at around 20-thousand cubic feet per second the sights are something to see.
So Silverhawk Aviation Academy decided to offer low cost tours.
On Fridays and the weekend three people can go up at a time and see the canyon from above for $50.
You can see Shoshone Falls, the twin falls, head over the devils coral and then circle back towards the Perrine Bridge.
The company is based at the twin falls airport. But people can catch rides at the corner of Golf Course Road and Highway 93.
They’ll be out there every weekend up into July, Friday through Sunday from 11am to 7pm, weather permitting.
you can call Silverhawk Aviation Academy at 208-407-8519 or www.silverhawkaviation.net
