Trafficing Charges Dismissed on Nevada Woman

Twin Falls

By Benito Baeza

Drug trafficking charges against a Nevada woman were dismissed.
34 Yulenny Rojo–Lugo was facing one count of trafficking and one count of conspiracy to traffic. Magistrate Judge Thomas Kershaw found no evidence to support those charges. Thus, they were dismissed. Lugo was charged after being stopped by Idaho State Police for speeding south of Twin Falls. Upon suspicion, the car was searched and more than two pounds of black tar heroin were found. The worth was estimated at around $72.000. Lugo was asked to deliver the car she was driving to someone in Washington State from Las Vegas. The judge said there was insufficient evidence she knew the heroin was hidden in the car.
