Transition Center Opens

Twin Falls

By Benito Baeza

There is a new opportunity for students in Twin Falls County if they didn't finish High School.
The Transition Center opens up next week at the Snake River Youth Center.
Its run by the Twin Falls School District. The center is open to any student in Twin Falls County.
Its intended for students who dropped out, got expelled or had problems in a GED program.
Amy Rothweiler, coordinator for At Risk Services for the Twin Falls School District says "we're looking at it as an opportunity. its an opportunity for students who haven't been working on an education to get back into the swing of things and to find some success, get some credits under their belts and get to the next step of where they want to go with their lives."
The twin falls county commissioner helped in providing the space at the Snake River Youth Center.
You can reach the Transition Center at 208-212-6925.
