A local homeless shelter is busy trying to meet the needs of the community.

Officials with Valley House Homeless Shelter in Twin Falls say they have a full house. According to Director Sharon Breshears, there are currently 70 clients including 39 children. They're remodeling and also building a new addition and they appreciate the continued support of the community.

Breshears said, "It seems God always meets our needs and the community steps up and meets our budget goals."

There will be an auction and dinner to benefit the Valley House Homeless Shelter at Canyon Crest Dining and Event Center this weekend. The "Our Night to Remember" dinner and auction is from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. this Saturday, October 2nd.

Tickets are still available and if you're interested, please call 734-7736 for information. 70-percent of the budget for Valley House comes from this event. Hundreds of businesses have donated to the auction.
You can find everything from gift certificates to local restaurants to Boise State gear.
