Two Twin Falls residents were injured when their SUV exploded on highway 75 just north of Ketchum.
At approximately three thirty Saturday afternoon near Eagle Creek- Jess and Kimberly Ward - both 53 --were on their way to a camping trip up north in a GMC Yukon Denali towing a camping trailer.
Blaine County Sergeant Jamie Shaw says they tried to pass a slow moving vehicle but the driver of the vehicle then put on the left-hand turn signal-forcing the SUV to retreat back to the lane.
The camper lost control and both the s-u-v and the camper rolled over onto the passenger side.
Officials say that with the sparks and the camping trailer carrying propane fuel - they caused the trailer and SUV to catch on fire.
A witness removed the windshield and pulled the couple out.
The couple was taken to St. Luke's wood river medical center and treated and released for minor injuries.
Three fire engines were needed to put out the flames.
The highway was closed for two hours.
