At about 10:18 Saturday (9/6) night, Cassia County Sheriffs deputies responded to this apartment complex on 16th Street in East Burley.

Cassia County Sheriff Jim Higins says, "Our sheriffs deputies responded, they found a man by the name of Alexander Rauh who had been stabbed."

According Higens, the victim was taken to hospital just down the street from the apartment complex and later flown to Pocatello.

Sheriff Higens says at around 2am Sunday, Rauh had died from his injuries.

"We had a report there was an altercation in the parking lot involving him and another man by the name of Christopher Foss. Mr. Foss apparently produced a knife and stabbed him in the chest and then ran from the scene."

According to the Department Of Corrections Christopher Foss turned himself in late this afternoon without incident.
