Rim to Rim

Twin Falls

Friday night nearly 275 racers were signed up for the Rim to Rim Race but officials predict almost 75 people registered just this morning.
What started as a fundraising effort for the CSI Cross Country team – three years ago is a now a staple event for Habitat for Humanity.
Linda Fleming, executive director says "Habitat for Humanity has been around the Valley for about 16 years. We've been a small affiliate just growing and building 1 house a year, this year we have built 3 homes so we are a growing affiliate."
In June Habitat for Humanity and the Lions Club teamed up to build a home not in a month's time – or a week's time but in just five days.
This may have seemed impossible to accomplish but for Fleming setting high goals is nothing new.
"We would like to be able to build 5 to 7 growing into 10 houses a year but that's a ways down the road at that point."
