Municipal elections throughout the Gem State will be held on Tuesday, November 3. Twin Falls City officials say to vote at the polls. The deadline to register was October 9th, but you can still register and vote absentee until Monday.

Come Election Day, the polls will be open from 8 am through 8 pm and there are 20 precincts’ around Twin Falls where you can vote. For the 2009 city election, there are three seats open for four year terms.
Mayor Lance Clow is up for election and is unchallenged.
Councilman Don Hall is challenged by write-in candidate Tony Ash.
Councilman Greg Lanting faces 3 challengers including former mayor Chris Talkington, planning and zoning Commissioner Jim Schouten and Downtown Businessman Steve Garner.
Voters are allowed to cast a vote for each of the three seats. The Twin Falls area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging the public and their membership, to learn more about the candidates and make educated decisions.
