Today people gathered at rock creek restaurant in Twin Falls, to raise money and remember the life of a Jerome Sheriff's deputy.
James 'Jim' Moulson was killed in the line of duty in 2001.
In his honor, the 9th annual dinner and wine tasing event began at one o'clock – tickets were 30 dollars.
Proceeds from the event are going to the Jim Moulson foundation used to help the needs of Magic Valley peace officers, and for scholarships to the law enforcement program at the College of Southern Idaho.
Brett Ried, CSI law enforcement professor says "The students who come into this program – their first uniform is purchased for them from the funds that we generate for this annual gathering, and they benefit from other equipment needs they may have throughout the year."
Brother Bob Moulson, says "Jim was a jolly cheerful guy, he used to just... enjoy his job."
The event included a no–host bar, appetizers, and prime rib, salmon and shrimp dinners.
