Liberty Symposium Hosts Candidates

By B. Cooper

Seven candidates running for office spoke at the liberty symposium held at the College of Southern Idaho.
Candidate for Idaho House of Representatives, District 24 seat a Rusty Satterwhite says that there were quite a few similarities amongst these candidates.
"there's a lot of frustration, there's a lot of the idea of fundamentally getting back to the constitution, personal responsibility and personal consequences."
Satterwhite served in the military and organized a Tea Party.
He found it was time to get more politically involved.
"in the last year for being a tea party member, i realized that we are getting people educated, we can protest and knock on the door of policy makers but we're just banging our heads unless we actually put ourselves forward and make sacrifices and be a part of the solution and political system."
The symposium featured the Idaho Freedom Foundation, Campaign for Liberty and World's Smallest Political Quiz.
