The women of the red hat society dedicated a bench today to their local founder.
Dozens of ladies dressed in colorful, jazzy clothes came to dedicate a bench to Victoria Jenkins at the twin falls city park.

She passed away in 2006.
The bench is at the park for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
Queen of the Red Hat Society says
"Deborah Paul, our Queen Mother of the Quorum had to go to the City Council and get it approved, and then we had some left over money from our convention in 2007, so that paid for the bench and the plaque."
Polly Fivas says that the group enjoys having fun and supporting one another.
ladies fifty and older wear the red hat and purple clothes while those under 50 wear pink hats.
Women celebrating a birthday in the month wear purple hats and red clothing.
