Kimberly City Administrator Polly Hulsey says the majority of water pipes through out the city where upgraded. It was completed with the help from the Department of Environmental Quality. The upgrades include new water meters that allow residents to know how much water they are using.
Early next year a new city hall is expected to be complete.
The old fire station will be able to hold pretty much all of the city services.
Kimberly Mayor David Overacre says "Its going to incorporate all of our utility offices, police department, public works, administrative, planning and zoning, also our city council chambers."
Also next year a new RV dump station will be built for campers coming through.
It will be built with help with a grant from Idaho Parks and Recreation
Also next summer the bid is expected to go out for a traffic light at Red Cap Corner.
