Magic Valley Court for October 12th 2010
Juan Manuel Arellano was in a Cassia County Court room Tuesday October 12, for his pre–trial hearing for the first degree murder of his wife Ramona Arellano last may.
Arellano’s attorney was planning on putting forth a motion to dismiss the case. But due to lack of paper work the defendant asked for more time to prepare.
The trial was sent for the 25th of October to face a jury but now will be pushed back a few months so the information needed by the defendant can be obtained.
The new pre–trail hearing was set for January 24th 2011.
A Twin Falls man was in court today to find out whether a judge will lower his bail which was sent a $1 million dollars.

He was in court today after his original trial could not find a guilty verdict and a miss–trial was declared.
So in preparing for a new jury trail that is set for the beginning of next year.
Osterhoud requested that his bond be lowered.
Judge Richard Bevan found that the flight risk on Osterhoud was low and reduced his bond to $250,000 and Orderd hiM to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet until he will stand trial again in 2011.
