Twin Falls Hears from Council Candidate
The Twin Falls City Council held a special meeting this afternoon – to hear from the two dozen applicants who would like to be the one person – to fill an opening on the city council.
All of the 24 people had a total of three minutes each to make a presentation outlining why "they" were qualified for the open seat on the council.
City councilman Lee Heider was elected state senator last month – and will be leaving to serve in the Idaho Legislature after the first of the year.
at three minutes apiece – the two dozen presentations added up to just over an hour and ten minutes.
It’s not certain if the city council will ask for follow up interviews with some of the candidates.
