      Sande and Ron Choate purchased the Wrangler Drive-In in Jerome, Idaho on February 15th 1997 after fifteen years in Apache Junction, Arizona with the Sonic Drive In chain. We decided to try to maintain the small town feel and friendliness by hiring only local help, catering to the local clientele, and using as much family as possible. Ron, Sande, and all three of their daughters and two out of three sons have all worked at the restaurant, as well as three nieces so the family diner name is no accident.
