There are no new details available on yesterday's early morning shooting in Twin Falls.
Twin falls police responded to a 9-1-1 call at about one-30 Monday morning - at the corner of Fifth Avenue East and Jerome Street in Twin Falls.
An unidentified man was shot and killed and an unidentified woman was taken to Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise, where she remains in stable condition.
Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs says his office is still trying to notify the victims' next of kin, which is difficult because the relatives live outside of the local area.
Loebs says otherwise, the investigation into this case continues.

A shooting early this morning in Twin Falls has left one man dead and a woman injured.
“I looked over and just saw these sparks, blue blue, and she's just shooting...” said an un-named neighbor.
This is the account neighbors have from a shooting that left one person dead in twin falls early this morning.
Twin Falls Police responded to a 9-1-1 call at one-thirty this morning to the intersection of Jerome Street and Fifth Avenue East downtown.
Neighbor Jennifer Thornquest said, “My husband was actually the one who called 9-1-1, he actually chased down the assailant until he heard a second set of shots.”
Twin Falls PD issued a release this morning that says an unidentified man had been shot and killed.
“The person who shot him just opened the driver's-side passenger, err-driver's side door and just shot the person. Right, right, right there, right in front of my house.”
The second victim, an unidentified woman, was taken to Saint Alphonsus Hospital in Boise and is listed in stable condition.
Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs is leading the investigation in the case. Several neighbors who saw the shooting say it was a violent scene.
Neighbor Maggie Johnson said, “She banged on his window and then just started shooting. And he must have been trying to get away, because he, his car just went, went right into a house over there.
KMVT spoke with neighbors who witnessed the shooting and they say the event is puzzling, and happened in an instant.
“She didn't yell, nothing. She just, she just banged on the window and all of the sudden just started shooting.”
As of this afternoon, no arrests have been made and no names have been released.
Loebs has not released any new information, and the investigation remains ongoing.
