Buhl precinct won by coin toss

Twin Falls, Idaho - In what officials are calling a historic day for Twin Falls, the next republican precinct committee chair for Buhl Precinct Number 7 came down to a coin toss.

Ballots counted for Tuesday’s primary election came to a tie between Neola Weaver, and Miles Cunningham; they each received 84 votes.

Mya Goodman with the Republican Women stood in for Neola Weaver; after the coin toss, Weaver won.

Following Idaho code, in the case of a tie vote between candidates at a primary election, the interested parties or their authorized agents will appear before the county clerk for the determining coin toss.
