By KMVT News Staff

Bellevue, Idaho (KMVT) - Some lucky folks in the Wood River Valley got the chance to enjoy a day with no work; every year a Labor Day celebration is held in Bellevue all weekend.

Sunday was the parade through the town; and families got the chance Monday to enjoy the sunny but cooler weather in the city park.

Vendors Dan and Brigitte Karlovich said, "Its fun, the music is fun there’s a ton of people. We really love it here, its awesome it great for the kids, great family atmosphere, the people her are just awesome."

Even the Spanish Club in Carey went up for the day to raise some money to head south of the boarder for their group trip; they decided to serve fresh apple juice.

Around 8 bands played in the park between the two days of fun and activities.
