CSI shortening registration period this fall

TWIN FALLS, ID (KMVT-TV) The College of Southern Idaho is shortening its registration period this fall.

Students will have one less week to get signed up for classes. The college wants to ensure student success. By shorting the registration period it will help prevent students from falling behind.

Usually students have at least two weeks after classes start.

"However, when they do that, if they're some of the really late enrollees, their chances of success are diminished, a little bit because they've already missed a couple of weeks of classes and labs and all kind of things. so we're going to back that up , we're going to cut off registration right as of that Friday of the first week,” said CSI spokesman Doug Maughan.

Fall classes begin on August 22nd and the final day to register will be that Friday, which is the 26th.
