JEOMRE, ID (KMVT-TV) Dancers and cheerleaders from across the Magic Valley laced up their shoes Saturday.

The Jerome High School Cheerleaders hosted the Third Annual Elite Invitational - in the Jerome High School Auditorium.

It showcased local dance and cheer teams around the Magic Valley.
The day allows local groups a chance to perform routines without the pressure of judges, but in, what officials say, is a structured environment.

Performers ranged from five years old, to eighteen. They showcased a variety of styles, from jazz tap, ballet, cheer and much more.

Tickets cost five dollars for adults and three for children.

That money will go to help cheerleaders pay for uniforms and other expenses.
