Yesterday Twin Falls County Police recovered a body near Jackpot, Nevada - that they think may be a man missing from Sacramento, California - for more than a month.
Early last month - 47 year old David bishop of Sacramento, California turned up missing.
This is the apartment where he lived with his nephews - 25 year old Jason Shepherd and 23 year old Sean shepherd.
Jason Shepherd was arrested in Kansas - and his younger brother Sean is in the Jerome county jail, where he confessed to dumping the body of his uncle off this bridge on highway 93 south of Jackpot, Nevada.
Wayne Tousley says, "The Jerome county sheriff's office got a confession from a person that they had picked up, in custody, who had confessed to throwing a body off the bridge just inside the Nevada line on the salmon falls inlet creek."
He says some people floating on salmon falls creek south of the reservoir - spotted the body while they were on the water.
But it took a couple of tries to recover the body.
Tousley says, "It's pretty rugged in that area and it's hard to get into with atvs and there's no road access, and there's a lot of brush in that canyon coming down to the inlet. So we flew it again in a helicopter, and they were able to locate it, and got the body picked up."
The body hasn't been positively identified as 47 year old David Bishop yet.
Tousley that will be up to the Sacramento county coroner.
He says, "We have no other missing persons from Nevada, Elko County, or our county that were in that location or would have come up missing, no missing persons, period."
