A former nurse practitioner charged with multiple counts of prescription fraud -and conspiracy to commit prescription fraud - has pled guilty.
Jan Sund allegedly prescribed Oxycodone and other drugs to five patients - who would then give part - or all the drugs - back to her.
A pre-sentence report has been ordered - and Sund is tentatively scheduled for sentencing on July 10-th.
Certainly one big question that remains - is what role Sund will potentially play - in testifying against a former Twin Falls City Police Detective.
Last week five felony counts of prescription fraud and conspiracy to commit prescription fraud were filed against 44-year old Curtis Gambrel.
Gambrel is accused of obtaining prescriptions from Sund for Oxycodone and Hydrocodone.
Those events allegedly occurred from January of 2005 to April of 2007 - the same month gambrel resigned from t-f-p-d in after 22 years of service.
At one time gambrel was a local instructor with the city's drug awareness campaign.
