Four years ago in October, Amanda Read's left leg was amputated after she was pinned between a car and the wall of the mister wash car wash.
Since then, she's married and is now known as Amanda Fomichev.
She is suing William Hollifield, her former lawyer, who took a third of the 100,000 dollar settlement last year.
She says Hollifield didn't protect the remainder of the settlement, which was taken by the Idaho State Insurance Fund – leaving her penniless.
Today's scheduled hearing on a motion to dismiss the case against Hollifield was cancelled – and judge Robert Elgee said an amended complaint will be filed in this case.
