Highway shootings continue in N. Idaho

A shooting this past weekend in western Idaho has some wondering if there’s a connection to a string of shootings that happened in January.

The latest happened Saturday (3-20-10) near Potlach, Idaho. Doug and Colleen Head say they were driving on Highway 95 on their way home from their granddaughter’s birthday party when they heard a loud bang.

The couple says it happened when a light colored pickup truck pulled up alongside them and they heard a loud bang. The couple pulled over and found their vehicle had been shot and the bullet just missed Doug Head’s leg.

It was this past January when 20-vehicles were shot near Helmer, Idaho, which is east of the Potlach area.

Police don’t have any suspect’s in Saturday’s shooting.
